The Kung Foo Pandas – Die Pandamania greift weiter um sich
Anfang August 2008 leistete eine Gruppe Männer den Eid, ihr zweites Ich dem Leben als Panda zu widmen. Die Regeln standen fest:

1. Der Anfangszeit grossartiger Rock Musik zu huldigen, insbesondere der wahren Rock Ära der Jahre 1967-1980. In einer authentischen, provokativen und traditionellen Art und Weise. Volle Power!

2. Ganz nach dem Motto „dirty deeds can be done dirt cheap“ spielen The KFP zu günstigen Konditionen auch in kleinen Clubs, solange Strom aus der Dose kommt.

3. Weit weg von zuhause brauchen die Pandas ein Dach über dem Kopf, du möchtest nicht wissen, wie Pandas riechen, wenn sie im Freien übernachten müssen…

4. Für das leibliche Wohl muss gesorgt sein, damit Leistung gebracht werden kann. Manchmal werden Pandas durstig und obwohl gemunkelt wird, dass Pandas nur Bambus essen, gehen die Essgewohnheiten von The Kung Foo Pandas etwas weiter, gerne auch in Form von lokalen Spezialitäten, wenn sich das ergibt.

The Kung Foo Pandas spielen unverfälschten, fesselnden Rock ’n Roll à la Billy Idol oder Led Zeppelin.

Die verruchte, kraftvolle und charismatische Stimme und die energiegeladene und mitreissende Bühnenshow von Frontman Kim Powers passen wie die Faust aufs Auge.

Zwei Gitarristen, welche es mit Gitarrenhelden aufnehmen können, Jann Van Crow und der neu zur Sippe von The KFP dazugestossene Oli Wagner kombinieren ihre beiden verschiedenen Stile zu einem Höllencocktail, welcher euch das Gehirn weg pustet.

Der pulsierende Bass von Janku Zimmermann kann dich nass machen, so behauptet dieser zumindest. Warnung: Pandas sind gute Kletterer und Janku spielt mit Vorliebe auf Tischen und Bars, stabiles Mobiliar ist also gefragt.

Der Rhythmusakrobat Michel Müller ist der einzige Panda, der während eines Gigs nicht vom Weg abkommt. Er ist mit seinen Drums ein Fels in der Brandung.

The Kung Foo Pandas – Biog 2011.

In the beginning, in Aug 08, a group of men took the oath to dedicate their alta ego to living life as a Panda.The rules were set.

1. to pay homage to the late and greats of Rock music, especially the pure rock era 1967-80’s.In an Authentic,Provocative and traditional manner.

2. dirty deeds can be done dirt cheap if the club is small.As long as the electricity works.

3. If the gig is far from home, we need a roof over our heads, because have you ever smelt 5 Pandas that have slept rough?

4. It is rumored ,that Pandas only eat Bamboo.
Well, The Kung Foo Pandas diet does stretch a little further, we are always willing to eat the specialities of the area we are visiting.
